0800. LAMINATING PRESS DELIGHT.pdf

Make your own wood blanks to your own specifications using dimensional lumber (local and exotic). Almost all my wood for laminations comes straight off the saw into glue-up on the press. Sometimes a stack four or five layers high will be a bit wonky as a result but this press can compensate for that so that pressure is applied evenly to all surfaces. The laminating press I have used now for the last six or seven years is MODEL NUMBER 4. I have spent several thousands of dollars on trial and error, including a version with hydraulics. MODEL NUMBER 4 is low-tech [non-hydraulic and no clamps to buy or mess with], extremely easy to use and operate, easy to build, and relatively inexpensive. Makes laminating a speedy hassle-free delight.
